His coaching style is all about mastering those climbing moves while keeping the mood light, ensuring that every session is not just a workout but a laughter-filled adventure. Whether you’re a climbing newbie or a seasoned pro, Jakob is here to turn your climbing journey into a giggly, gravity-defying escapade that’ll have you saying, “Who knew climbing rocks could be this much fun?”
Some climbing accolades include topping a V12 boulder, 5.13d route outdoors, being a member of Team Canada in 2018, and he has been a route setter for the last six years.

Improve your climbing skills with personal attention from our coach. Whether your focus is bouldering, or top-rope, our coach will work with your specific needs to get you to the next level in climbing.
The first hour of your first lesson will be your assessment and completing your intake form. You will be assigned personalized homework (climbing drills and workouts) each week to practice your skills. Our coach will log your progress and tailor each lesson accordingly.

Using a combination of over a decade of training experience and up to date training literature, Jakob will curate a plan no matter what your level is. Whether you’ve hit a plateau, don’t know how to structure your training, or just want to pick the brain of a seasoned veteran, Jakob can offer a plan for any level.
Sign up for either an 8 week or 12 week training plan, where you receive a 1 hour consultation (in person or virtual), a midpoint check-in and a final sit down to discuss next steps. The consultation will include a brief assessment to check important metrics in climbing performance.
