Kitchener Guided Climb Reservations

The guided climb is a 1.5-hour event.  We provide staff to belay for your group.  Climbers will be able to climb on the boulder, the auto-belays, and top-rope climbs.  Climbers will be put into small groups and our staff will guide them around the gym. The cost is $30+tax/participant

– Event must be booked a minimum of 10 days in advance.
– All participants and spectators need a waiver signed.  Waivers are to be completed before the day of the event.  Anyone under 18 must have a minor waiver signed by their own parent or legal court-appointed guardian.   Waivers can be signed online on our website.
– A $10 per person deposit will be charged upon booking.  The deposit is only refundable with cancellation of more than one weeks’ notice.  Deposits are non-refundable with less than one weeks’ notice.
– Payment is due on the day of the event.  The payment must be paid on one bill.  We cannot take payment from individual participants for the event. 
– Harness rentals are included, but the climbing shoe rental is not.  Participants can wear clean, tight-fitting running shoes or rent the climbing shoes for $6+tax.
– We provide one belay staff member for every five people.
– For groups of minors (under age 18), we require at least one adult to be on site at all times.

One week before the event the following must be submitted to kitchener@grandriverrocks.com:
1)  FINAL NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS:  On the day of your event, you will be charged based on the number of people confirmed at this one week deadline, regardless if less people show up.  We require this confirmed number so we can staff accordingly.
2)  A LIST OF FULL, LEGAL NAMES + BIRTHDATES:  We require a list of all participants (and spectators) so we have plenty of time to check the waivers for your group.  Then by the time your booking rolls around, you can just show up and start climbing!  We suggest giving your group a deadline of this one week mark to fill out the waivers.
