The Pebbles Program (Ages 4-14) on Saturday Nights

Saturday @ 7:30-9pm — ages 10-14

$10+tax per child (includes harness rental) 

For this program, we provide belay staff and harnesses.  Parents of kids ages 4-9 MUST stay for supervision (no climbing).  Parents of kids ages 10-12 must be in the building (can stay & climb).  We’re splitting the program into 2 time slots (see above). Families with siblings in both age categories can choose one or the other to partake in.   Please show up 15-30 minutes early to check in and get harnessed.

Participants must sign up and pay either in person or online using BOOKEO.
– To pay online: Create a login & choose ‘BOOK’ for Pebbles.  Pay $10 through PayPal to reserve your spot.
NO REFUNDS once paid.

Upon arrival, just check in at the front desk.   Cutoff time for program sign-up is Saturday at noon for participation that night.  There are 30 spots available for each section.
NO groups please.  Each child must have his/her own parent present.  

Anyone under 18 MUST have a minor waiver signed by their own parent or legal court-appointed guardian.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  Download the waiver here.

Rubble Rebels (Ages 6-15)

10-weeks — includes rental gear on Rebels nights, belay lesson for ages 13+, and a 3-month membership

This program is designed to introduce young climbers to techniques and training principles. This program is perfect for beginner or intermediate climbers ages 6-15. This season we ARE NOT isolating climbers based on age or experience level in regards to the time slot selected. Climbers have the choice of either the earlier or later time based upon their availability.

The EVENTBRITE ticket only reserves a spot in Rebels. Once the ticket(s) are acquired on EventBrite, payment and forms (link below) must be submitted to Grand River Rocks by September 20th or your spot will be forfeited to the next person on the waitlist. Maximum number of spots per reservation: 2

Youth Team (Ages 8-18)

COMPETITIVE YOUTH TEAM
Ages 8-18
Mondays & Wednesdays 6-9pm / Saturdays 8-11am

For this program, our coaches provide instruction on advanced climbing techniques and skills required for competitive climbing. The curriculum focuses on boulder, top-rope, and lead climbing (for ages 13+). Participants are required to compete in a minimum of 2 local and 1 regional competition, as well as any competition hosted by GRR.
